Security professionals’ meeting in Warsaw
Organizations across Poland and the region increasingly face complex, correlated threats — from targeted cyber attacks and supply-chain vulnerabilities to the ripple effects of geopolitical tension. Fragmented standards, a shortage of skilled professionals and rising risk complexity mean individual organizations have limited ability to build resilience alone. The recent ASIS International Poland Chapter meeting focused on how coordinated action and knowledge-sharing can close these gaps and strengthen organisational security.
At NaviRisk, we have supported the creation of the Polish Chapter of ASIS from the very beginning. We believe a strong and competent professional community is essential for building safer businesses, institutions, and societies.
“I had the honor of opening the event as a member of the ASIS Poland audit committee – and it’s amazing to see how quickly this initiative is evolving,” says Bartosz Pastuszka, CEO of NaviRisk.
ASIS International is more than an organization — it is a global network of over 34,000 experts across 158 countries, offering world-renowned certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI, APP), trusted security standards and guidelines, and a platform for knowledge-sharing and professional development.
Events like this bring us closer to a shared goal: building a security culture that is ethical, resilient, and future-ready. By joining #ASIS, security professionals gain access to global expertise, ongoing learning opportunities, and a community that truly supports its members.
“I encourage all professionals and organizations who value integrity, professionalism, and continuous growth to support and engage with ASIS International Poland Chapter,” adds Bartosz Pastuszka.
We thank all ASIS guests, speakers, and supporters for their engagement, insightful conversations, and meaningful networking. Together, we are building the future of security.

Investigations in local operations – when headquarters need clarity on the ground
In international organizations, some of the most serious risks arise far from headquarters. They develop within local subsidiaries, branches or operational units, where management autonomy is high and direct oversight is limited. From our experience at NaviRisk, investigations are frequently commissioned by international owners, boards or headquarters in response to concerns related to local management […]
