NaviRisk visits Saab – at the heart of Swedish defence
During the Swedish–Polish Business Summit 2025 in Stockholm, NaviRisk had a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of one of Europe’s top defence technology hubs – Saab in Linköping. Bartosz Pastuszka, CEO of NaviRisk, represented the Polish security sector and advisory services supporting organisational resilience.
The delegation got an inside look at the development and production of defence systems, including fighter jets and advanced aerostructures, as well as airborne surveillance and operational support solutions. They also learned about maintenance capabilities for helicopters and civil aviation, and projects related to critical infrastructure protection and modern traffic management. The highlight was a live demonstration of the Saab JAS 39 Gripen fighter, showcasing its extraordinary manoeuvrability and operational capabilities.
In the context of Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, Polish–Swedish cooperation in defence, resilience, and advanced technologies has become strategically important. The Saab visit offered not only a glimpse into technologies strengthening European security but also a practical step in deepening this strategic partnership. We thank Saab for the invitation and Business Sweden and PAIH for the excellent organisation of the visit.
