Stronger Together: Polish–Swedish strategic partnerships
Collaboration in defence, innovation, and business security is becoming a key component of regional resilience. In March, Warsaw and Gdańsk hosted events that strengthened Polish–Swedish strategic partnerships, including bilateral discussions and the signing of important industrial agreements. Bartosz Pastuszka, CEO of NaviRisk, participated in these events at the invitation of Business Sweden, actively engaging in discussions on security, resilience, and strategic investments. For NaviRisk, such initiatives demonstrate that building networks between governments, industry, and experts is the foundation for safe business development and strategic resilience.
Security in the Baltic Sea region requires not only military readiness but also close collaboration between governments, industry, and security experts. In this context, the Polish–Swedish exchange of experience and the signing of strategic agreements serve as key elements in strengthening the resilience of the defence and technology sectors.
The state visit of Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia provided a starting point for organizing high-level meetings, including the Swedish–Polish Total Defence Forum, Scaling Innovation for Europe, and Baltic Sea Security Talks. These meetings enabled practical discussions on cooperation in total defence, critical infrastructure protection, innovative dual-use technologies, and industrial projects.
Key industrial agreements were signed, including Saab with WB GROUP and Saab with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, representing a tangible contribution to regional security and the technological development of the defence sector.
